Did you all build the Favicon Ad component yourself, or is this available somewhere as an extension for Joomla? Kinda like it, and was unable to find anything like this... If you built it, do you offer it as a product?

Hi s10,
We developed the frontend module and backend component to track and manage the ads, but it was developed specifically for our own use. It would quite a bit of work to make it ready for public distribution and *for now* we don't have the time to do so..
Cheers,
Chris

I might suggest some sort of cobbled-together-solution.

Not sure how it would play out, but there is open-source buy-a-pixel software out there that might be able to be restructured or in-line framed within a module position.

Here's the link to one I used last year, in "wrapped" form, on a joomla site created for a bicycle race.

Who knows, maybe with correct sizing, and the use of an inline frame, you could get this to work as a module.

We are currently looking at remodeling this component to be available as part of our club offering. This is still under discussion as to what needs to be done to make it available but as soon as we move forward on it, we will start letting people know so they can start queuing up for it
