Front Page alignment - column width 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have tried to set up the Frontpage like the Snappa demo Where four articles appear across four columns on the home page beneath the Slide Show. I can't however figure out how to widen these columns. Right now, there is too much white space after the four columns (almost the width of another column) and yet the width of each article headline is scrunched together in the columns i currently have.

I have my frontpage set to content only (no sidebars). Can someone PLEASE help????? Thank you!

Thanks Matt... So I just figured that part out - it had to do with the amount of text in the articles' intros. Which leads me to my last question (I hope). If I wanted to create a different background for this same frontpage area, what size does it need to be and how would i insert it?

Just on the frontpage right, and spanning

Expandable Image
Customizable Image
Easy to use Image
Flexible

the titles that used in the demo for the sections?

Well the easiest way, would be to make two copies of the template, assign one to the fronpage, and change the background of "jjMain" in structure.css I think. The background you replace it with should be 920px in width, and as for the height, that depends on what you have published, but I have a URL I could work it out for you.

An alternative could be making a php if, where if its the frontpage, it shows a certain div, and on all other pages, it shows another div. If I have a URL so I can work out the ID of the page you want the different background, then I can write a code for you =)
