JoomlaJunkie - Joomla Template Provider Bringing color to the Joomla community

I am running Joomla 1.5 on WAMP and have installed the Serenity template
When creating a new account ( a new user tries to register ) Create account - type in the details and then pressing the green Register button :
With IE6 - nothing happens - no post-back at all - no verification - nada
With FireFox it does post back and creates the user, but then remains on the registration page ( as if it has not worked ) However, none of the verification works so I can enter anything into the boxes
If anyone else has experienced this, and found a solution, please give me a heads-up
It has to be in the template somewhere as applying a different template solves the problem, but I have been looking all day so far and can't find the problem..

Serenity is a 1.0 template with no legacy support for 1.5. Serenity needs a pretty big overhaul for 1.5 and we actually plan on redoing it soon.

You problems are due to a variety of changes that occurred with how Joomla handles its users from 1.0 to 1.5
