hi, I just installed the template and ready everything on the guide but I can't seem to find the issue. Here is what I get when I visit my page:


Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in templates/rationalmagic/menu/jjmenu.php on line 5


Anyone know what is causing this issue?

I have fixed this by changing php4 to php5. Now I have other issues.

Dave are you using the newest version of RM? This issue was resolved.

I just purchased it yesterday, I am assuming you sent me the link with the latest RM to download.

mherrala as dave stated, add the switch to run your site in php5. Php4 is old code now anyhow.

Also this has been discussed in great detail and outlined in this thread. Please try one or more of those fixes.

We do have a update that resolves these issues but it has been held up for a few days due to to unforeseen circumstances.
