Actually I'm using a different template on this site now - although still using a joomla junkie template on another one but issue remains. fraction of a second but white every time.

It doesnt happen on windows (that i have been able to replicate) but it does happen on my mac - generally when anything loads that changes opacity when font smoothing is on (on my mac at least).. I've seen this behavior happen on loads of different templates / sites, but havent quite figured out a fix for it yet.

I have always noticed a slight dimming of websites when javascript gets run. Maybe that is what you guys are talking about.

Nope it's a fraction of a second screen change to white then a refresh.
