at first the ifresh template looked great! so i bought it for the library i'm working for!
this subsite is ment for a school here in the south of the netherlands.

but...
I'm having 3 problems:

problem one is general (all browsers etc)
the homepage doesnt show the sidebars

so its kinda empty... i did fill some menu's and have one newsitem as a test.
see:
when you go to "login" (as an example) it all will show.
all menu-modules are set to show on all pages... so what can it be?

problem two is that i cant get the main tabbed menu to show...
as far as i can tell i tried all!

problem three is (i think) related to IE 6
the sites looks crappy... in IE6
see:
and:

but at my work everybody works with IE6... so having the visitors upgrade to the latest version of IE (or even better: have them work with firefox) is not an option...

Hi Marcus,

I am sorry you are having problems with iFresh it should be straight forward to setup using the guide.

Your first problem is actually the cause of a feature in iFresh that is not configured correctly. Have a look in the index.php there is a config option to select a layout (left column and content or only content) for any component. I am assuming you have com_frontpage set to content only.

I will have a look into the other problems and get back to you as soon as possible but it is new year

One last thought, for your 3rd problem, try setting an absolute path to all images in your ie.css

So for example:

AlphaImageLoader(src='templates/ifresh/images/bgspacer.png', sizingMethod='scale';

to:

AlphaImageLoader(src='http://www.bibliotheekwaterweg.nl/startblok/
templates/ifresh/images/bgspacer.png', sizingMethod='scale';

Hopefully this will fix it, just a hunch..

Happy New Year

topmenu wasnt working cause of a small error in the menu.css...

bg images etc were still linked to a joomlajunkie examplesite of ifresh. guess that link aint working no more.

i changed it to my own directory and it looks great now!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

problem solved, case closed

thanx andy
