Instructions on modifying the template 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I'm trying to change to a logo that is larger than the template slice for the branding-logo.png. I loaded the sliced template in Fireworks and chance the slice size and save the pmg file. Where does this file need to be copied and what should I name it?

Thanks

Hi Jim,
As i am sure you will have already noticed, the logo changes color (albeit only a slight variation) for each color scheme. The logo images are referenced in each of the color css files (blue.css, orange.css, red.css, green.css). The logo names are:

branding.jpg
branding_f2.jpg,
branding_f3.jpg,
branding_f4.jpg

If you replace the images with your new ones in the templates/[templatename]/images/ directory, that should sort it

Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Chris

Yes I have the color logo files and I have replaced those files with my logo and that works okay displaying my logo. However, my logo is a little bigger than the original logos and does not show up completely on my home page at www.lifeskills.us

I have modified the Final Source-FlexPLite.png file, in the SourceFiles directory, using Fireworks to make the branding-logo.png area of the template to be the same size of my logo. Now that I have that saved I need to know how to take that png file and update the website so that change will be reflected on my home page.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Jim,
I understand now Find the following in your template_css.css:

#top h1 a {
position: absolute;
left: 0px;
top: 0px;
width: 353px;
height: 122px;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
text-indent: -7887px;
z-index: 100;
}

You will notice i have adjusted the width, height, top and left positions to accommodate the larger logo

Cheers,
Chris
