different server this time, so I've made the php.ini amends, reinstalled both the template and the module and nothing has changed.

I might shift this to a "live" server and see what happens.

Tried to change the preset, and received this error (on an all white screen)

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 786432 bytes) in /home2/bluefoot/public_html/sd/libraries/domit/xml_domit_lite_parser.php on line 914

Seems like something is very wrong there.

You issue has been addressed in the sticky in the top of the Auroroa forum as well as page 4 of this exact thread.

White screens and memory errors

Try Increase memory_limit in your php.ini file, ie:

memory_limit = 32M

(this is especially important in MAMP as the mem limit is very very low.)

Once you make this change make sure you reinstall the template.

I am still struggling to get my template updated and a lot of times when I try to use Tatami, I get a page not found. If I keep trying it will finally load. I did add a custom php.ini file and uninstalled/reinstalled my template and the Tatami component. Sometimes my site doesn't load or is very slow, also. Any findings by signing into the live sites? I had sent login information my log file to Chris last week, but haven't heard anything since then. Let me know if there is more information I can provide.

Im not terribly good at math, but something about this strikes me as strange:
Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 786432 bytes)
33554432 - 786432 = 32768000 bytes left over.

I don't think I'm running into a memory limitation here.
