Editing Logo 5 Months ago Karma: 0
I would like to edit the Logo. Instead of it saying 'Aurora' I would like to change the name and keep the same font and style. Is there an automated way to do this or would I need to do this through the source files?

I would say the easiest way to do this is the throw the existing logo,
(Joomla/templates/aurora/images/logo-lite.png)
into your image editing program (Gimp, Photoshop, whatever) and edit it from there. the font is very similar to Century Gothic. Then save it as logo-lite.png and reupload. That would save you the hassle of editing in Fireworks.

Aside from that, there is no way to edit just the text from the backend if that is what you mean.

ALL transparent images in Aurora need to have a filter set for IE6 to make it use transparency, if you have made a custom logo and changed the image name you will need to update the name of the image for the logo in the "logoie6filters.php" file in the template folder. The image is set to not display in the ie6 styke sheet as it is rendered by the filter, hence the logo does not show.

The style to change is the h1 a {
