fatal error on template install 2 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0  
I'm testing the template on my local wamp server and get the following error.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 256 bytes) in C:\wamp\www\testsite\includes\domit\xml_domit_lite_parser.php on line 135

As I don't really know what this means or what to do about can anyone give me some pointers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re-read your title. Sorry, had to change my response.

How are you installing it? From within Joomla? If it is a local install you can just drag and drop it to the template folder to work around this issue.

This is a local install via the joomla interface.

I've now copied the template files to the templates folder as suggested. I get the same error message when I try to view the site templates (to attempt to apply the template as the new default). Any ideas?

I have not experienced this on a variety of installs from JSAS to MAMP but that doesn't help much.

Try Increase memory_limit in your php.ini file, ie:

memory_limit = 32M
Also have you installed Tatami and followed the order in the read me?

the increase memory did the trick.

I've installed tatami and about to upload the backgrounds.
