Hi Aryals,
In your templates ie6.css, can you please try removing this code:

Code:

#top h1, #user3, #shadow, ul#mainmenu-nav ul li, ul#mainmenu-nav ul li.hover {
background: none;
}

and see if it helps?

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks Chris! That fixed the issue. I also put back the relative image paths that you had originally suggested that I make to #user3 and #shadow in wine.css and template_css.css and it still works. It looks like the problem was setting the "background" style to "none" on "#user3, #shadow, ul#mainmenu-nav ul li, ul#mainmenu-nav ul li.hover".

Thanks so much for your fast and thorough help. I also had the problem of my suckerfish menus falling behind text and images on the page in IE, but your recommended fix in another post worked for that too.

Thanks,

Hi Aryals,
Glad to hear everything worked out ok! Just to confirm, without having the full urls and just removing the ie6 css "display: none" fixed the issue?
Thanks,
Chris

@Matt - Can you please update the bug tracker with both issues (the z-index and ie6 background issue with sef turned on) and update the template (both 1.0.x and 1.5 versions). Thanks!
