Background colour and image 4 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I'm trying to make a few small adjustments to Ario Lite.

I want to change the background colour and remove the background pattern.

So I go into jommlatemplate_css.css and change:

body {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
background: #202020 url(../images/body-bg.png);
}
to

body {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
background: #206020;
}

All well and good. The background image has gone and the colour has changed from black with to a nice dark green.

But, the dark background with the pattern still survives in a horizontal strip underneath the suckerfish menu and to the left and right of it. Can anyone tell me how to change the background here please?

Many thanks

Don't worry, I think I've done it now.

In case anyone else has the same problem -

It seems the background of the suckerfish menu is made by a .png image file. You can find the file in the folder of the style you are using (grass, stone etc).

The file to edit is called user3.png. Its located in ariolite/images/[folder]/ and you need Macromedia Fireworks to edit it.
