JoomlaFCK not comletely appearing. 6 Months ago Karma: 0
I like to use JoomlaFCk but with this template the whole editor does not show. I can type just fine but the actual editing toolbars are cut off. See image.

I have the same problem with TinyMCE. Is there a way to make the editing window smaller?

I am also unable to get the screen to turn white, even though I have selected the NO button for template CSS.

Don't know how the double post happened.
I did some searching and came to this page with suggestions for changing the text editing area: http://www.mambers.com/mambo-4-5-1-...nymce-content-editor.html

It didn't work for me, but I went to the component that TinyMCE is used in a found the same settings shown in the example on this site. They were in an html file of the component. I reset them and voila! The window now fits within the template area.

Hope this helps.

Now, I still have the problem with the background color staying the same as the template. Is there something more to do than simply set the Template CSS setting to NO?

I will be very happy if I can adjust that.

Thanks.

Hi Guys,
If one of you can setup a temp super admin account for me and send the details to chris[at]webmonkeys.co.za and i will take a look at the editor width issue.

As for background in the editor, below the option where you set "use template style - yes/no" there is an input field where you can add the url to an alternate stylesheet. Add something along the lines of:
http://www.yoursite.com/templates/y...mplatename/css/editor.css

That should sort out the editor background issue

Cheers,
Chris
