JoomlaJunkie - Joomla Template Provider Bringing color to the Joomla community

I just recently installed Mike Simbunch's ParaInvite with my super cool Absolute Redux template and I am getting quite a bit of trouble.

The component enables users to import their contacts through the means of a ThickBox pop-up...and when it comes up, the contents of the box are completely blank. No rendered code in the frame...nothing.

I think it has to do with a JQuery conflict as I've tried it with another template and it works just fine.

The component requires that you add three lines of code to the HEAD of the index file....which one is calling JQuery and the other two are references to CSS files for the ThickBox. I removed the line of code that calls the JQuery, as it is already called earlier on for the template switching capabilities of the template.

I've tried running the template call to JQuery to the same file that ParaInvite uses(a newer version of JQuery)...but that just blows the template apart.

Any pointers? This is the last step to getting this site off of the ground and I would hate to go back to the drawing board after spending so much time designing everything around this template.

Definitely sounds like conflict of some sort. Do you have a url so we can look at it?
