Default header image & image rotator problem 5 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
I am really, really new to Joomla but I have what seems like a very simple problem changing my header in this template. I don't see "Header" listed anywhere in my modules. Am I missing something? I have installed and enabled a different image rotator (RokSlideshow) since SIR doesn't work with Joomla 1.5 and I can't get it to work. The same old JJ-absolute image continues to appear. What do I need to do to have my slideshow images show in the header instead of the default template header image?

Thank you,

Kim

Hello Kim:

If you are using Joomla 1.5 one of the cool new features is adding new modules by simply typing it into the module type drop down field. its not real obvious unless you start typing there, and thats not a spot people type. Intuitive? not really. Cool, heck yes!

I looked into your issue a bit and was having issues making images come up as well. I am not sure if I was doing something wrong myself as well, but I did not have much time to spend on it. We come back to work Monday so I will look into it further for you then when I have more time.

Have you had any luck yet? I found out that SIR didn't work on Joomlaworks SIR support forum. I guess we'll just have to wait on that one. RokSlideshow is supposed to be Joomla 1.5 compatible so I'm thinking it must be something I'm doing (or not doing). Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kim

I'm still not able to get a rotator to work. I'd appreciate the help.

Thank you,

Kim
