Suckerfish menu and placholder menu item 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Does anyone know of a way to make a placeholder menu item in the top menu look the same as a content based menu item would?
http://servers.gorilladesign.com.au/hotshots/

The third menu item across the top (Products) is a placeholder item has a different look to the second item (Licences) which is a blog category menu item.

thanks for looking in and for any advice you can give.

Regards,

Curtis

I am yes. Sorry,

I had to change it yesterday for a client meeting.

I've put a placeholder back in now as the licenses item on the menu bar.

Thanks

I'm not sure how you are even doing that. The easiest way to make a placeholder link is to create a new link in the backed, and if you do not already have a place to point it to use # or index.php instead of a URL.

Is that what you are doing?

I was using a placeholder menu item and just putting in text. I've used your way instead... It never occurred to me to just to reference the link as #.

Good stuff and thanks
