Joomla 1.5.2. legacy. Width set to 800px

I've installed the Simple Image Rotator and published it to the position "header". But it doesn't show anything. If the title is published, I can see the text in front of the header.

If the position is "user1" pictures are shown in the main content.
so the module has access to the pictures and it can't be a problem of the setting the correct rights?

has anyone any idea?

well, there is definitely something wrong but I think you know that one already.

Can you post a link so we can get a peek at what is going on?
