I see someone has asked this exact question--however, I receive a 404 error when trying to open it and I see that no one has replied.

So, perhaps there is an obvious solution, but I cannot figure out how to change the title "Welcome to the Frontpage" of the front page. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi

To change the frontpage title go to menu/mainmenu then select 'home', on the right hand side is your parameters, the title is the third one down.

So...

Under parameters-component, there is "show article title" which I have set to Yes, No, and Use Global, and it has no effect on the page title. I cannot seem to find the words "Welcome to the Frontpage" in any of the code.

"Welcome to the Frontpage" is not in the code, it's in the back-end, if you go to menu/mainmenu/home you will see it on the right, it is an include on the php modules that you use, delete the text in menu/mainmenu/home, far easier.

Hi MG,
There should be another option for page title, or content heading or item title (cant remember exactly off hand and just on my way out). Take a look and i am sure you will find it
