Header image and nav images fail to load sometimes 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hey all, great templates you have here.

I customized our CSS on Absolute Flush and for the most part everything works great. I made the top options bar 0px so that it wouldn't show up, then made the header area taller in CSS, and now I have the background set to an image URL in the CSS. However, the header image only loads sometimes, here is a screenshot of it not loading:

It does seem to load more often on Mac Firefox or at least on other computers, and more often when I clear my browser cache often, but after a few pageloads it stops loading again. I've never seen something like this before. And like other users here, trying to use image rotator or even a custom PHP script in the CSS that generates random background images works even less often.

Any ideas? I've tried manually adding the header image in the template HTML and that works even worse as well, even though its the same thing as the original HTML design minus CSS changes.

At times, even the top blue nav bar background images also don't load, leaving my web page without a header image and without nav background images. There is absolutely no pattern to it and it happens often in both PC Firefox and PC IE.

Thanks,
kanter

Hmm. In IE, the nav background images are still not loading properly. And in FF, the header image is still not loading sometimes. But in IE, seems like the header image is loading correctly now...

What changes did you make, and is it possible to try further?

Thanks for your help,
kanter
