Answered: Superslider with text

What is your live site URL? (localhost if none): http://leibnizschule-berlin.de/
What browser does this happen in: Firefox 2.x, Firefox 3.x, IE 8, IE 7, IE 6, Chrome , Safari
What version of Joomla: Joomla 1.5
What OS? (your computer, not your server): Window
Joomla experience level: 5

Hi,

I hope this is possible: On the website Leibniz-Schule Berlin I am using the frontpage slideshow by joomlaworks. I really like the style, but since it is two years old, a little buggy and I dont want to buy the new version, I hope to make the superslider look the same.

I am trying to put some text right next to the slider, which is always the same. For doing so I use the mod_placehere module but I cannot place it right to the picture. The module shows up over or below the slider module. Is there a chance to get it on the side?

Thanks for helping out.

Hi Mway

I would suggest you stick with FPSS. I have never experienced a bug from it personally.

SuperSlider actually does not do the same things that FPSS does. It has no auto change image at all.

We plan on refactoring SuperSlider in the near future, as we feel it needs some work.
