Answered: Super Slider Question

Hi,

Congratulations for your great Job.

I would like to ask your help, as I want to use SuperSlider as you show in your demo template, and don't know how...

I mean, I want to use:
1) The same buttons as you have;
2) The thumbnails in the module bottom, but without the white highlight
3) The Titles aligned at the right

Also, as I saw in your Mocha template it's possible to have an automatic transition between images, how can I use this with this template??

Many thanks for your help.

Ok. Making and building modules is out of my expertise and the developers have their hands full currently. What you are requesting is a style that was being displayed on our Dark Rational demo that was not included in the production version of the Super Slider.
Long story short we will address this, but it will take some time to get it repacked, prepped and retested and etc. We are about to release a new template so all hands are currently busy with any number of a hundred other things.

To try and help you out I have zipped up the module and attached it here. You will need to unzip the attachment and extract the contents to your
/joomlasite/modules/mod_jj_superslider/ folder
overwriting the contents. The attachement will most likely not install, you need to drop the files in manually via FTP as I have described.

Again, we will most likely add this style in the future, but I wanted to get you a solution now.

Most of these settings are done from the modules configuration. You just need to play with it a bit.

SuperSlider does not automatically rotate. It does not on the Mocha or the Dark Rational Demo.

Yes we recommend and use some of their products. Be aware the module you linked to is for Joomla 1.0 only.

Strange answer...

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
However i feel very disapointed with your support and I truly hope you make me change my opinion about your support. Your answer doesn't look like an answer, as it says nothing new... Sorry may complain. :-(

Of course I played around with all possible settings in the module configuration.
Theres is no chance to recreate how this module looks like in the Dark Rational template.

So, let me reformulate my question:

Please teach me like if I were novice how to setup SuperSlider exactly as you show in your Dark Rational template demo. That's what made me buy this template, otherwise I would feel.
That's what I need....

Many thanks!

I can assure you it is possible.

Here is a screengrab of the modules configuration on Dark Rational for you to copy the parameters.

Wrong Downloaded Version??

Hi Matt,

Now I understand why you say that's possible!

I've downloaded available version from you: mod_jj_superslider_1007_1233801942.zip

however only shows 3 options

Please let me know how to download the version you have..

Many Thanks

We have the same version. Are you telling me you do not have the long list of options I have in the screencap above?

No Rational Style...

Only three options???

But in your image I can see 'Select Style' - Rational Style... In my image as you can see I don't have such option

I believe it's that the difference... That's the one is missing, and maybe it's the one I want
(exactly the same as the demo template Dark Rational'!

Can you help pls?

You know what, you are right. I overlooked it and misunderstood what you meant.

I will ask the developers why or how that style did not make the final version.
