Unanswered: Error

i have a problem with the module ONLY in internet explorer 6.

I have downloaded it in january so i suposse it is the last release.

what happens is that when i load the webpage it appear an error that shows something like:

"IEPNGFix: Children of positioned elements are unclickable: <DIV>

i send you both pics as well.

i am working in local mode, before uploading into a server.

I dont know how to link both images, so i upload them into a free server in a compressed file

By the way....I'm using Legacy mode, but i have tried to deactivate it just for test, and the problem still happens

Besides this error, i have noticed that the module does not work fluid with internet Explorer v7. has anyone noticed that?? is there any solution.

By the way, with Opera and Firefox it works perfectly.

PD: i still have the error with Internet Explorer v6. I need help please

I forgot to tell i am using MOCHA template and i have legacy mode activated. i would like to know if anyone is working trying to solve it, like me, or i am just alone.

Hi there, first a few questions at you :)

1. have you installed any other modules / plugins that rely on js ?
2. did you install the iepngfix mambot / plug in ? if so try removing it
3. have you inserted an iepngfix htc script ? if so try removing it.
4. does this problem occur on the default template ?

hi both for the answers.

1. I am not sure, but i havent found any external module that uses js. becasue I am not sure I upload the specific file plus 2 videos where you can see what happens, and iepngfix.htc file.

2. No, I haven´t installed iepngfix mambot / plug in.
3. No, I haven´t inserted an iepngfix htc script.
4.I dont remember that, i started to create the web page on Opera and firefox, and it worked fine, when i was almost in the end i realized that in IEv6 doesnt work properly, and in IEv7 doesnt work fluid.

LINK->MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

PD: in teh first video...appears one error per pic i have in the module, 8 errors = 8 pics in superslide module

PD: i have copied superslide module several times, and i use like headers (as we can see in test 2 video) for some articles, only changing the picture.

PD: the big header size is 959x351 and i use pic of 958x350
the small header (loacated in articles) size is 720x150, and i use pics of 720x150.

in both cases the problem in IE still happens

PD: I have also noticed that when the error happens...i lose all the transparencies of some icons like for example the ones on the left menu, or even the pathway icon in breadcrumbs (only IEv6)

PD: if I dont activate the links on the images...the problem dissapear (not IEv7 fluid problem)...but i need the link function

Hi,

I have tried to duplicate your problem without any luck so far. Is there any way you can upload your website to a live server that you can give us access to so we can test it with your environment.

Also, do you see the same errors with the super slider on our demo for dark rational?

Dark Rational Demo Home Page

Cheers,

Andy

I have test dark rational demo homepage, it works fine in IEv6, but the images are not linked, i think the problem is when the images are linked, thats my problem.

i will try to upload the webpage as soon as possible.

can be a problem of size of modules?
thanks for your answers.

HI there,
first a few questions.

do you have phpmyadmin both on local and remote ? (this will make moving the database easier)

1. if you do have phpmyadmin - ensure the remote and local ones are both the same version.
2. on your local ( in phpmyadmin ) there's an option to do an export script
3. on your remote (in phpmyadmin ) you can upload an import script
4. move your joomla files & folders across to the remote server
5. open up the configuration and change your
database info
ftp info
site path info

all the guides i came across has mentioned what i did.
