| Answered: Uploaded & installed, but can\'t see Superslider?
Hi I have installed Superslider, uploaded photos, enabled and configured it but when all is saved and refreshed I can\'t see it ... I just get the crazy rabbit in my User 1 position. See http://www.madcan.com/joomla/ Should the following say something different? #user1-bg { background: url(../images/crazy-rabbit-header.gif) no-repeat top center; height: 300px; margin: 0 auto; } Shelleuk |

Hi shelleuk, Good - so at least its loading. Now i notice one other thing that may be causing the slider from displaying: you have 3 instances of jQuery loading in your template: 1. From the template itself 2. From the newsticker module 3. From the superslider module These are all identical, so i think should try to switch off (unload) two of them. The superslider uses the first instance, so keep that one enabled and switch off the jQuery for the template (under admin options -> unload jquery) and on the newsticker module (under module options -> unload jquery). That should make your template a little quicker to load too :) Hope that helps... Zahir |

Hi shelleuk, I suspect your template may be set to display the image rather than a module. You can change this setting by going into the template\'s administration parameters and then setting the \"Header Option\" to modules instead of Image. Hope that helps :) Zahir |

Thanks Zahir - I set the header option to Images as suggested - so now the photos show - but now they all show at the same time, one underneath the other ... ? http://www.madcan.com/joomla/ |

Im glad that worked out :) I just realized that zappa does not have a disable jquery function since its quite central to a lot of things in that template. If you want to disable loading jquery twice, you could try out the following, in the order specified below: 1. Disable it on the superslider module, and only use the one bundled with the template. Go to your superslider module, then under advanced settings, click to disable loading jquery. 2. If the above does not work (re-enable it on the superslider module), then go into your templates index.php file, locate and then delete the following line: Code: <script language=\"javascript\" type=\"text/javascript\" src=\"/joomla/templates/zappa/js/jquery-1.2.6.min.js\"></script> Hope that helps :) Zahir |
