Snappa takes Spacemonkey to the land of grunge

Finally got around to relaunching the SML website, which takes advantage of the Snappa template to go for a grungy, distressed organic look:

It was a fun challenge, as none of the graphics I had available fit the design, so I ended up Snappafying all of my other graphics to make the site more complete. I also took the source files and used them to make a quick Twitter background:

I whipped up a quick post about what we did to make this site, and how things went. For a quick-n-dirty effort this was really a great fit. The next one is of course using Morph, but we had to wait. Looking forward to that too.

Thanks JoomlaJunkie!

Mitch, really great writeup about how you got your site up and running with everything! Well done. :)

Regarding blog for your site, I know it's not free but it's so fantastic I MUST recommend: Wordpress Integration for Joomla by CorePHP <- we're looking into preparing the styling in Morph's themelet to make it ready for sites running Morph and WP for Joomla.

Feedburner - if you haven't already set it up, do it now! It's easy to use and you will pat yourself on the shoulder if you ever change your rss url. ;)

Cheers,
Tess
