Hi

I've been researching your site and products for a couple of day's now, and though it all seems very impressive I'm not sure I want to commit to purchasing any kind of plan yet.

You seem to be ill equiped to fulfill your obligations to your clients. Your work load seems to be too excessive for your team to handle, which has resulted in your productivity stalling.

Maybe in a few months I may reconsider.

Hi cmills,

Thank you for your feedback. :) Please clarify what you mean by "fulfill your obligations to your clients" and "productivity stalling"? As far as we know, we've been adressing all questions, issues, bugs and relevant feature requests brought up by our members on the forum, but if we have overlooked anything we're all ears to know about it and make sure it's sorted out. :)

Thanks,
Tess

For sure... not!

I actually wanted to open a new thread... but I would like to help you, finding an answer to your "unsure" question.

I signed up for 49 $, one month, cause I was as well very unsure, if I would find what I am looking for.

I downloaded the morph first, and, I was disappointed. The Gantry framework or T3 do a lot better than morph, which is complicated to understand. Despite all the promises, morph is not a good framework, it doesnt come handy. I built several templates on Gantry (Gantry Framework - Flexible and Powerful Web Platform) and T3 (JA T3 Framework 2.0 Overview) which is even Joomla 1.6 ready, and I really think, those FREE frameworks are doing alot better! Look at them first.

As I do understand, with my actual plan, I am entitled to use it on 1 domain, i.e. 1 license. The "it" is the crunching point here. "It" is related to the Morph framework himself, if you are using a self created themelet or not. Means, doesnt matter, if you do the themlet yourself (which would be your own work), you may install it only on the domains you paid for, as it only works on top of the Morph framework. This ist totaly not acceptable, as the free frameworks do not care about that, as long as you are using your own made templates.

Morph "phones home". Call me paranoid... but I really dont like it and there is no satisfying explenation for this behavior. I will not use morph on any productive server!

Looking at the club templates, it smells even worse to me.

Out of the 26 available tempates 12 are Joomla 1.0 only!

This means, something more than 50% are Joomla 1.5 capable. I really think, this is a hoax, as nobody uses Joomla 1.0 anymore.

Ok, so what do you get for your money?! Nothing, you couldnt get for free, despite some old Joomla 1.0 templates.

Looking at the pricing here and comparing it to Joomla Templates, Drupal Themes, WordPress Themes and phpBB3 Styles - RocketTheme, you get a bunch more for just 1 $ difference. Despite that they give support to their Gantry framework, the have alot more 1.5er templates and you may use as many of your own creations on as many domains as you like... oh, no, I am not a Rockettheme fan, but they have the Gantry framework. Ok, to be fair, lets look at the T3 framework, which comes from Joomla! Magento & Drupal Templates Club - JoomlArt.com. 3 month for 59 $, you may use the framwork for free and put your creations on as many domains as you like. Conclusion: Joomlajunkie is to expensive!

I am not claiming for refund, I know, thats a waste of time. But when my plan is ending 01. November, I will file those 49 $ under "unpleasant experiences" and go my way.

I decided to dive in and splash the cash and I subscribed for a 3months trial period just so I could test drive the Morph framework - I was also interested in the creativa themelet. Worst mistake I ever made - the framework is clunky and is over complicated - and as for the Creativa themelet it simply hasn't progressed to anything - the status page has been the same for nearly a year from what I hear from other members.

I too am a existing member of Rockettheme and have been for about two years and find the Gantry framework to be the best framework I've used by far.

I will be putting my JoomlaJunkie experience to bed. The support may be good if you have a problem - but that's about all you get for your money.

My worst Joomla experience ever!
