Answered: installing morph?

ok so if i download morph and install 1.) configurator 2) template 3) themlet in that order as shown on the video do i need to install the sample data as well?

i already have a site previous site and data been working on for past few months. all the videos recommend installing the sample data for some reason.

cant i just configure using my exisiting data? will i not have some of the functions because i dont preload the sample? does it matter since i dont install the preinstalled extensions since i dont use quick installer?

Hi MightyKC

Morph is new, incredibly feature rich and....well.....a big component compared to a standard template. We do not suggest you try to install it on a live site as your first install ever. Your best bet is to do a localhost install or a sandbox build so you can get comfortable with it and how it works. This will also give you a point of reference if you cannot figure something out in the future.
In the big scheme of things as a website admin you should always have a staging area for updates and testing before pusing to a live site, so this should not be too unreasonable.

Hope that helps. :)
