| Answered: Morph OK for Joomla Newbies?
Hi Folks, I'm impressed with the possibilities that are opened up by Morph and its Themelets. However.... (why else write ;-) On the one hand, I'm new to WebProgramming (I'm an experienced application/stand-alone programmer, however), and I'm afraid Morph's complexity might overwhelm me. On the other hand, if I begin investing time and energy in a new project, i.e. web programming with Joomla, I want to start out with the best tools available. I'd be very interested in your opinion on this issue. Thanx in advance, The Old Dog |

Indeed. Give it a test spin. Running with your tool analogy....while you may look at a small toolkit at your local store and think it fits your needs, eventually your skill level will increase once you start understanding tings better, and the bigger toolkit might have been a better option for the long haul. In other words, Morph has a lot of buttons and options and may look a bit overwhelming, but once you start using it on a site you will find it does most anything you need it to do. If it doesn't, we most likely have that on our wishlist for future enhancements. Oh and for the record, NO template companies have this type of extreme template options. |

Hi there Old Dog ;) Don't you worry, our aim is to make the Morph toolset as usable as humanly possible and we've had really great feedback from both Joomla beginners and Joomla developers. We are working on comprehensive and easy-to-understand documentation, tutorials and videos to make it as easy as possible to use Morph, regardless of level of experience with Joomla. Have you logged in to the free demo? If not, give it a spin and see if you like what you experience: Try before you buy! Checkout the new Configurator demo! | ProThemer Team Blog Let us know what you think and if you have any questions. We're here to help you all the way. Cheers, Tess |
