Code Editor - Custom Code?

I have been looking for the best editor to use or a way to edit my articles in such a manner where I can place any code I want into the article without it messing with the formatting and stripping away code.

I am currently using JoomlaCK editor and do like the WYSIWYG menu system and not want to go "pure" code.

Anyone have any tips around this?

Thanks

Hey Ron,
We generally stick to JCE for all our projects. There are a few configuration options that you can set so it doesn't mess up your code, but as with all WYSIWYG editors, there are going to be cases where the editor thinks its smarter than you. Its for that reason I usually turn them off, but since you've said you'd prefer not to go that route, I'd recommend giving JCE a try.

Hope that helps!

Cheers,
Chris
