| Expose Flash Gallery does not show
Hi! I installed the latest version of the extension \"Expose Flash Gallery\" (4.6.3a3, http://extensions.joomla.org/compone...254/Itemid,35/) and the pictures show with the standard Joomla template. Nothing is seen when switching to JJ templates (tried: Aurora, Snappa, Extreme Blogger and Absolute Redux). The Expose documentation states in their problem solving section: \"Try the unchanged default Joomla! template. Some <difs> or <iframes> constructions are in conflict with the gallery.\" Is this something that can be fixed? The site was local but I have uploaded it: http://www.athendoftheday.com It is basically a fresh Joomla 1.5.7 install with JJ template and the Expose Flash Gallery component. The only other extensions installed are JoomlaPack (2.0 a1), the module Expose Thumbnail Scroller and the Google Analytics Tracking Module. Many thanks for your help! |

Hi Erik, It seems there is a style that is conflicting with the template. If you remove the following from your template_css.css (near the top where the resets are) and it should fix it :) .hidden { display: none; } Let me know how it goes ;) Cheers, Chris |

That did the trick indeed, thanks a lot Chris! Will that removal bother me elsewhere? Erik PS: Love it that Aurora is now available for J1.5, great template guys!!! Also love the superfish and the accordion menus in the newest templates. Here is a suggestion for the name of the next template: grappa ;-) |

Hi Erik, Glad to hear its working :) I think the hidden class was just a generic style to use if you wanted anything hidden, so i think its pretty safe to remove :) We are actually working on a brand spanking new menu system, that is not only rock solid, but also a couple of neat additions! As for Grappa, we find ourselves getting confused between Zappa and Snappa already, so adding another similar sounding template to the mix would probably not be the brightest idea ;) Cheers, Chris |
