do you meant the left or right panel ?

if you are using left-content-right then it will be 173px.
if you only using left-content or content-right it will be about 214px

it is actually controlled by a percentage

did you mean something else ?

It is the information I was after - however it was the content width I was after.
My guess is it\'s therefore 960px-346px(whatever that equals) for left-content-right config.

Am I right?

With this tool and firefox, you can click and have the answer in literally seconds (plus tons more feartues)... although your calculations are close, you must take into account padding on the sides of each column as well...

You can aslo install a firefox plugin called measureit i think.... great to use for this as well.
