Remove Joomla! is Free Software released ......



How do you remove the Joomla / GNU/GPL license line ?

I\'m working with a Joomla 1.0 template (Vector)

There about 4 or 5 different ways to do this. This is only one.

1. goto your joomla site root folder
2. go inside includes
3. open the footer.php
4. make change as your wish.
this change will reflect footer as you wish in your site.

strange .... no matter what I do to the footer.php file, this line stays there....

Joomla! is Free Software released under the GNU/GPL License.

Could it be that there is something different in the Vector template?

Could you tell me a couple other ways to do this.....

open up your index.php file for the template, scroll to the bottom and edit for your needs.
