Thanks. Btw, the Sidebar Module Migrator is meant just for those who already published content in old modules' positions (now deprecated) and want to move to the new positions, right? There seems to be some issues with it. Even though the modules got migrated, they still show up when I choose again the same position (source). And some of them are duplicated on the right (same module displayed twice). Also, there's no a "save" button to do the migration. Even if I click "migrate modules" and I get the 'modules migrated' popup message; when I change position (source) to transfer modules from, I get the alert to save modules: 'You have selected to migrate modules to a new destination but have not yet saved. Would you like to save or clear these changes?' |

Hi Enrico, Thanks for the feedback. There are still many improvements we plan on making to the migrator, this is just the first version and while its not as smooth as we'd like it, it essentially "works". We just didn't want the migrator to hold up the rest of the release, as there were many people waiting for the updates. The "migrate modules" button is essentially the save. I agree that it can definitely be more clearer, especially the part "after" you migrate, like clearing the contents of both boxes to make it clearer that it was successfully completed. I'll keep this in mind for the next update. Cheers, Chris |
