Push towards code freeze

Hi guys,
Here is the list of what we have decided needs to be done before we can do a code freeze. By code freeze it we mean that no new features will be developed and we will just be focusing on getting it stable.

If there is anything you feel that should be included, please let us know by replying to this post.

- Update our installer to allow for tar.gz archive types.
- Add options for demo sql & iphone media to universal installer.
- Add no javascript option to Morph.
- Separation of settings for site & themelet.
- Add option to allow the shelf to be moved below the tabs.
- Add option to hide top branding / tips.
- Add option to disable bottom footer.
- Rework the save button so its easily accessible.
- Finish html overrides.
- Review login / acl system.
- Simplify the "Save & Activate" process.
- Improve the upgrade process.
- Add option to download a backup of the entire morph_assets folder.
- Change preferences to pull from the database instead of cookies.
- Update summary to include download links if an update is available.
- Add the ability to default layouts for components.
- Import / export tool for settings.

Once the above tasks are completed, we will switch focus to fixing bugs, cross browser fixes, performance optimization & documentation.

Cheers,
Chris

One other feature which would be nice is an export/import of the settings along with the asset folder so that we can have templates layouts for specific purposes such different types of websites. Then when we start another website project, we can do an import of one of our backups and then customize further. This would save time

Hi Manuel,
Thanks for posting your suggestion. We've actually been planning on doing this all along, but i completely forgot to add it to the list. Thanks for the reminder ;)
