| Amazing new forum layout!
Matt! Holy shit is this forum beautiful! I've never seen vBulletin look like this, never seen it look this good! I'm very curious about a couple things, and I'd be so thankful if you have a moment to answer these questions: First, how the heck did you get vBulletin to look like this? Tons of custom css? Did you buy a template for vBulletin from somewhere? Your vBulletin forum also seems to have a bunch of features I've never seen in vBulletin forums before...am I right? Where did they come from? Second, what bridge are you guys using? Jfusion? Your own custom bridge? Rokbridge? I have several sites on deck that will need a robust forum, and vBulletin has been my first choice, but I haven't tried to integrate it into a Joomla site yet. Did you find the process difficult, and did it require a lot of messing around with hacks and complicated programming adjustments (which would be over my head)? Thank you so much, and congrats on the new forum. It looks fantastic. Glad you got rid of Fireboard. cheers, forest |

Hi Forest. I'll try to answer everything but you had a lot of points to hit. :) Bridge? We don need no steeekin' bridge. (we are not using a bridge as we do not allow users to post articles or anything on Joomla. We also plan on doing some cool things in the future and vB fits our needs.) vB features? Could you be more specifc? We have only rolled out 20% of the new stuff, so I am curious what bits you want to know more about. vB looks. We started with the vBSEO template from the guys at vBSEO - vBulletin SEO and Chris has been hard at work modifying the crap out of it with his css talents. The design is totally from his brain so all the credit goes to him. The process isnt too hard. As with anything it just takes a lot of time. The hard part is finding time while still making our normal innovations and releases. :) Thanks for your kind words. We are very happy with our new baby steps. Wait till all the new features kick in over the next month or so. |

While I have you here, I just wanted to let you know you can change your username to something more neighborly if you want to. All the 2co people we have given them permission to change username in your control panel for 30 days. Let me know if you have any questions. |

Thanks, Matt...yeah, I looked around in the control panel last night and couldn't find where to change my forum name. And I just looked again and couldn't find it. Am I missing something obvious? I clicked on Edit Your Details, but don't see anywhere to change the username. Where am I supposed to change the 2co number to a better username? thanks! forest |

I checked your account and made a change. You should be able to see the option now in your control panel / edit details / area. I verified this in the screencap. Of course let me know if this does not work for you.
