Well we did it, we jumped ship and went with a entirely new forum script. We were rapidly outgrowing Fireboard and needed something that was a little more robust.

A few people have been asking on the forums when the updates that we had mentioned for Rational Magic will be available. One area that we have been discussing alot here at JoomlaJunkie HQ is how to have more transparency on what we are working on. Often it will seem as though we are quiet and inactive, when in actual fact we are all working furiously a whole number of different updates, etc. One really good suggestion from Tess (our soon to be social marketing / search engine marketing queen) [...]

I am embarrassed to say we are mentioning these Joomla updates so late. We have been really busy around here at JoomlaJunkie with all sorts of things on the frontend like templates and modules, as well as top secret backend stuff.

Ario gets updated to make it play better with Joomla 1.5 in legacy mode

Some people reported problems with Ario not working in Joomla 1.5 when the legacy mambot is published. Most reports were of a blank white screen (although this is probably only because error reporting in php is turned off) If error reporting is turned on an error will show refering to the legacy mambot. This has now been fixed and a new version of the template can be downloaded from the club that will work as intended.

Joomla.org is a huge site with thousands of users and multiple Joomla installs. It appears to be one install, but upon closer inspection of the code you will see that different sections are sometimes more then they appear. The main page which we all know and love is a current build of Joomla, but you might notice the forum is not really Joomla at all. It is HTML added to the header and footer of phpBB. Joomla shop? Paypal and 2Checkout make friends

We've had loads of questions lately about the changes to the payment methods we are accepting. Since our new offices are back home in Sunny Cape Town, South Africa, our only option at this stage is 2Checkout as Paypal has not managed to crack open our Forex laws, which is why we have had to disable paypal as a payment option in the checkout.
