Treasures of the week

Bookmarking on Delicious, Magnolia, Digg or whatever is one thing. Picking the diamonds out of the heaps of internet treasures you find every week is another thing all together. Below you will find three of the diamonds we found this week.
SOCIAL MENTION
Real-time tracking of what people say about you
Social Mention is a social media search engine that searches user-generated content such as blogs, comments, bookmarks, events, news, videos, and microblogging services.
It allows you to easily track what people are saying about you, your company, a new product, or any topic across the web’s social media landscape in real-time. Search results are aggregated from numerous popular social media sources, including Google blog search, Twitter, Delicious, FriendFeed, Flickr, Digg, YouTube etc. and remixed as a single stream of information.

WORDLE
Creative, fun and flexible keyword cloud design
Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like.

BUTTONS OF HOPE
Spreading inspiration one button at a time
This company and Michael Gibbons got my love already when I read Michael’s bio on Twitter:“Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do”
The more that you (and, with luck, a whole bunch of other people) enjoy getting involved, the greater the impact for charities and the closer we’ll all be to making a difference in people’s lives and to finding some important cures!
