Brand spanking new Affiliate Program launching next week!

One of our most requested features on JoomlaJunkie.com is some sort of Affiliate Program. Many of you die hard JoomlaJunkie fans will remember that when 2Checkout announced a built in Affiliate Program, but after testing it out we realized that it wasn't really suited to our business model. We've tried a number of different programs since then and none of them quite worked.
Well, we are super duper happy to announce that our new Affiliate Program will be ready for soft launch next week! We chose iDev Affiliate as it fits in both with our Club Site, as well as e-Junkie (which we are using for individual template sales).
We are trying to not let our perfectionism get in the way of launching the program, but we have had to do some open heart surgery on iDev Affiliates template code! How any company can release anything with THAT many tables, inline css, inconsistencies and bloated code still baffles me.... but, the engine is solid and that is what matters! And besides, we love a good challenge ;0)
In the mean time, we are looking for 20 beta testers to take a look around and see if there is anything that have missed. If this is something you would be interested in, please send an mail to chris[at]joomlajunkie.com.

written by Chris Rault , August 05, 2008 Hi Damo,I realize the title of this comment is a bit ironic, since the affiliate program was "coming soon" back in May (gee how time flies!). Well, the truth of it is that i ran into a snag that i wasnt able to get past (the developers of the affilite program werent much help either) so we had to put it on hold why we focused on some other more pressing areas. That said, its back on the cards and i am going to look into it again this week.. Keep an eye on the blog for more info....
