We have had some really good feedback since Aurora launched, but there were still a couple of things that we bugging us and being the perfectionists that we are, we couldn't resist revamping the code to make it even better! Not only have we added gzip compression to the templates core css and javascript files, but also added the css / js combining to have fewer http requests, thus improving the templates performance.

On the Tatami front, we have been working feverishly with the guys from Ninjoomla and the result is something all involved are really proud about. Not only has the backend received an facelift (organized sections into tabs), but there is now an option to manage your sites logo and favicon too! You can even have multiple logos, so if you are the kind of person that likes having seasonal versions of your logo, then this is definitely something that you will appreciate. Color pickers have also been added to all relevant color specific fields and a whole new section to manage your configurable layouts for all installed components - pretty neat, eh?
