Below is an status update on all the various integrations that we are working on. These will be updated as progress is made with each of them. Be sure to check back for updates :)

We have removed the date estimates from the list and will be doing each of the integrations in the order of the list. Once one is completed, we'll move on to the next. We may reshuffle items on the list from time to time, so be sure to check back from time to time.

  1. Phase 1: Default Joomla Implementation

The first phase of Creativa's roll out is the standard Joomla implementation. This does not include any third party extension integrations & can be used as is. The plan is to release a stable version in each phase, thus allowing our members to go ahead & start using it right away, rather than wait until the rest are complete.

    Status: Complete.

  2. Phase 2: JomSocial Implementation

We've started learning the in's and out's of JomSocials templating system, but since its one of the bigger extensions we're integrating with Morph, this one will take a bit longer than the others - but we promise it will be worth the wait.

    Status: In progress.

  3. Phase 3: Kunena Implementation

All the various javascript conflicts with Kunena have been fixed & a base Kunena template is in the works, which will ensure that anyone using Morph & Kunena together will have no issues whatsoever, but also that the base template is easy to customize out the box.

    Status: In progress.

  4. Phase 4: K2 Implementation

We have already done a lot of work on integrating K2 with Morph & so far all of the frontend javascript has been completely rewritten to use jQuery (previously required Mootools to be loaded), updated the various K2 layouts to fit in with the standard Vanilla themelet & optimized all the code to be included in the packed, minified & gzipped version of Morph's css & javascript.

    Status: On hold.

  5. Phase 5: FlexiContent & JComment Implementation

The integration with FlexiContent is already well on its way, with all the frontend javascript rewritten to use jQuery (previously Mootools), extended a number of the core plugins, as well as developed a new links list plugin, which along with all our other updates will be included in the upcoming stable release of FlexiContent. Work is also underway on the JComments default template.

    Status: On hold.

  6. Phase 6: Wordpress for Joomla Implementation

Extensive work has been done integrating Morph & Wordpress for Joomla. We are very excited about the flexibility this cms hybrid gives us & already the base theme we have created has a wealth of options allowing you to customize most aspects of the Wordpress output. Further work has been done to ensure the best possible performance when using these two together.

    Status: On hold.

  7. Phase 7: MyBlog & JomComment Implementation

These integrations will be done once the JomSocial integration is complete, as while they can also be used as standalone extensions, we want the main JomSocial integration to be perfect before we extend these other two.

    Status: On hold.

  8. Phase 8: Tienda Implementation

Since Tienda was only recently launched as an alpha, we will be holding off on doing the full integration until a more stable version has been released. We have however already started working on the various template overrides & are excited to say that after discussing with the Tienda development team, we will be contributing our work on the overrides back to the project, so that everyone can benefit from this.

    Status: On hold.

  9. Phase 9: Ninjaboard Implementation

As with Tienda, Ninjaboard is still an alpha release & while we are very excited about this great forum extension, we will be holding off until the stable release before we do any extensive integration work.

    Status: On hold.

  10. Phase 10: Pulling everything together in an updated demo

Once all the above mentioned integrations are completed, we will update the demo to reflect all of these working in harmony. Until then each of the integrations will be done in its own separate demo.

    Status: On hold.

Supported extensions: our selection process

Since we first posted previews of Creativa, we have received an overwhelming number of requests to add support for [insert popular extension name here] and while we definitely take that as a good thing, as it means we are doing something right with Creativa, it is also important to understand that, while we would love to do integrations with all the leading extensions, these integrations take a lot of time to do properly and there are only so many hours in the day.

The above list is not to say that we won't be supporting other extensions, but rather that these are the ones we have decided to do first. Once these are complete, we will go back to our members and get input about which extensions should be included in the second round.

If you have a suggestion your would like to share in the mean time, please submit it on this forum post.
