Who are the guys behind JoomlaJunkie?JoomlaJunkie is owned, run and managed by Web Monkeys Design Studio CC, a full service design and development agency, registered in South Africa. We first started the site in October 2006 and since then have managed to attain “expert status” within the Joomla! community. Joomla! The whole Joomla! and nothing but Joomla!Unlike many other web development companies, we have a 100% focus on Joomla! and use it to deliver rich content management solutions to our clients all over the globe. We have been involved with the Joomla! community ever since it was called Mambo and we have created our entire business model and solutions around Joomla!. We are proud of our reputation as Joomla! experts and take great pains to stay up-to-date with all the latest happenings and advances in the Joomla! World. The JoomlaJunkie teamOur team boasts a huge range of different skills from xhtml to css; from php to mysql; from javascript to funky design skills. We are also the same cool guys who brought you JoomlaTips.com. Help us live the JoomlaJunkie dream!We have a dream. OK, it may be hair-brained, but it’s our dream and hey, we think it will work. It goes like this… we will quit our day jobs, fire all our clients and sit on some exotic beach somewhere, sipping ice cold caipirinhas, while designing the coolest templates under the sun! Help us live our dream, by popping over to our Commercial Template section and grabbing one (or ten) of our coolest. Alternatively you can just help spread the word, by telling everyone you know about our work and by linking to us from your site. Heck, why stop there? If you’re feeling really adventurous, you can always strip down and graffiti yourself all over with a permanent marker and run starkers down to your local pub! (Make sure you get the spelling right!) Please note that any crazies running half naked down your street are not officially affiliated to JoomlaJunkie! Where’d you get a name like JoomlaJunkie?That’s a good question with a simple answer. We wanted a name that showed just how committed we are to Joomla!, there are loads of different template providers out there in the community but we still felt there was something new that we could offer. The name itself, is two fold. On the one side, it’s a playful representation of us, being hooked on Joomla!, line and sinker - and the other part ties into the direction we eventually want the site to take… but more on that later ;) |
